Now through December 1st, the Concrete Masonry Checkoff is actively seeking a qualified individual to fill the crucial role of Program Director. This position is pivotal in shaping the future of the industry by investing in various regional and national programs centered on research, education, and promotion.
About the Role:
The Program Director will hold overarching responsibility for the design, execution, monitoring, and oversight of all programs brought before the Board for deliberation and/or acceptance via investment. This individual will be at the forefront of initiating the transformative journey, expansion, and impending success of Concrete Masonry through the Checkoff’s initiatives.
The chosen candidate will directly report to the Checkoff CEO. Their collaboration will extend to the volunteer members from the five Regional Advisory Committees (RACs) that form the Board. Furthermore, as programs take shape and are set in motion, the Program Director may collaborate with select Checkoff staff, as deemed necessary by the CEO.

Qualifications include but are not limited to:
- Promotion or marketing program development, implementation and/or oversight in the buildings industry
- Familiarity or experience in the concrete masonry industry
- Leadership and team building experience
- Project management skills
- Excels at stakeholder communications and relationship building
- Experience with organization of meetings
- Sustainability focus and market research experience are pluses

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Working with stakeholders to execute key strategies for program direction, development and implementation
- Program management including budgeting, RFP development and deployment, communication, contract negotiation and management, evaluation and compliance tracking and reporting of programs
- Assistance and coordination of grant funding opportunities with grant consultant
- Serving as the point of coordination for national and regional program applications
- Providing input, analysis and evaluation to RAC members and CEO on the viability and probable ROI of regional and national programs submitted for consideration
- Communicating best program practices among program applicants
- Set-up and launch of national design assistance center CRM platform, and coordination with regions to meet local needs of the center
- Serving as a liaison between the Checkoff and other organizations for the coordination of code, research and education activities
- Providing support for RACs to conduct business such as meeting organization, communication, and progress reporting
