California’s Mike Finch, RCP Block, Moves to Voting Position on CMC Board

Mike Finch, president and CEO of his family’s business, RCP Block & Brick, Inc., is now the newest voting Director of the Board for the Concrete Masonry Checkoff.

Representing California and Region 5, Mike serves on the CMCB Marketing Committee and has been highly involved in national and state trade associations working to grow and promote the masonry industry. During this term on the Board, Mike says his focus is on promoting the superiority of concrete masonry unit construction though education. “I am excited there are new opportunities for all concrete masonry producers in the U.S. to contribute to the resurgence of the block industry,” says Finch. “All stakeholders contributing will do so much more to advance the use of concrete masonry,” he says.

“His move means we now have an opening on the Board for an Alternate Director,” says Major Ogilvie, Chair of the CMC Board. “Qualified candidates can apply the Department of Commerce website. The deadline for applications is September 28th. An important note; if you applied for the open position last fall, please make sure to re-apply if you are still interested in joining our Board.”
