Meet the New CEO of the Concrete Masonry Checkoff Board

With a proven track record of effective leadership, strategic planning and collaborative initiatives, Kim brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, and we are confident in her ability to lead our Checkoff as we develop programs and initiatives to drive demand for concrete block.
Kim most recently served as vice president of American Concrete Pipe Association’s (ACPA) strategy and operations, cultivating trusted relationships with senior staff, key stakeholders, government agencies and elected officials in the concrete industry throughout North America. She also successfully led initiatives in collaboration with the ACPA board and committees, the American Association of State Highway Transportation Officials (AASHTO), and the American Society for Testing Materials (ASTM) to drive the goals of ACPA and its foundation forward.
Lastly, she brings a unique perspective as a civil engineer with deep technical acumen, combined with a knack for big-picture thinking and the ability to bring our marketing vision to life.
The Board believes Kim will bring a strategic perspective to the Checkoff in this role. Her outstanding leadership skills, extensive industry network, and commitment to excellence will undoubtedly guide the Board and the industry toward a prosperous future.

Get to Know Kim

Kim, her husband, Dan, and their two children are excited to start this new adventure with the Checkoff Program. Residing just south of Denver, Colorado, they love the mountains and their community.
Her family enjoys mountain biking in the summer, hunting in the fall and snowboarding in the winter. “I am most grateful to them for all their support and love for me, and we can't wait for the fun we'll have on this new adventure.”
