DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS CLOSED. \nThe Beauty of Block and Mason Contractors Association of America are offering an exclusive\, no-cost MasterClass Series designed for senior-level owners and staff who direct design projects and oversee design quality. \nThis five-session series\, held from November 3 to December 8 2025\, will explore key provisions within the International Building Code that can reduce masonry labor costs\, improve structural performance\, and share advances and best practices with architects and structural engineers. \nEach class will be co-hosted by Upstate NY MCAA Chapter members\, providing a mason’s perspective\, and participants can earn up to 10 free AIA LU/HSW continuing education credits. Attendance is limited to the first 100 qualified registrants. \nRegistration deadline is October 30\, 2025. \nClass schedule (5-7 PM ET): \n\nNovember 3 – Design Issues\nNovember 10 – Detailing Concerns\nNovember 17 – Building Joints\nDecember 1 – Specifications and Notes\nDecember 8 – Field Issues\n\n
